Christmas at the Sill's

Before my work Christmas Party

Brad and I had a great Christmas. We celebrated with his mom and step dad on Christmas Eve, Brad's dad and step mom on Christmas day morning and my mom Christmas day. I surprised Brad with a 5 day get away to Tucson,AZ. I have kept where we were going a secret for 3 months until Brad opened the trip folder. He was super excited even though he thought we were going to Alabama!!

Right when Brad found out we were going to Tucson
We started Christmas Eve off going to church and then heading back to Barb and Bob's for an excellent dinner. We had steak wrapped in bacon, lobster tails, baked potatoes, homemade Cesar salad and homemade cranberries. Everything was excellent we were so full as we opened gifts. We all drew names this year and it was fun seeing what everyone got. I got a beautiful diamond "a" shaped necklace and a vest. Brad got iLife and Gift cards. We ended the night with apple strudel, yum!

When Brad and I came home we decided to exchange gifts with one another. Normally we do this Christmas Day but we tried something different. We usually don't do gifts for one another as we both get what we want through out the year and we feel very blessed about that. So usually we sponsor a family in need and call that Christmas. This year we sponsored a family but also decided to give some small gifts to one another. Here is what we received from one another...

Brad
1. CU Football hat
2. Tim Tebow's book
3. CU and Bronco luggage tags
4. Bronco beer mugs
5. B.A.S.S ornament
6. Large luggage case (came to good use for our trip)
7. Beard Trimmer
8. 5 day trip to Arizona!! (This was for both of us)

Alisha
1. Tinkerbelle ornament
2. Purple scarf
3. Vest from LLBean
4. Makeup from Victoris's secret
5. Monogrammed LLBean bag
6. CU shirt

Christmas morning we headed to Boulder to have breakfast and spend time with Brad's Dad and step mom. Breakfast was great as usual and we had a great time. Warren and Julie's tree was beautiful and it was so nice to spend time with them. Brad got a VERY special gift from his dad that we have heard about for years, a signed menu from Joe DiMaggio. It is very neat and super special to Brad!!

Christmas afternoon we hung out and watched Christmas movies with my mom and took it easy. I cooked Crab legs, asparagus and potatoes for dinner. The crab legs were awesome!!

We hope everyone had a great Christmas.
